Joey Pollaro & Danny Shannon

When was the last time you felt grateful for something in your life?  Being grateful helps you tune into the simplicity of life and appreciate what surrounds you. Gratitude comes a long way. In fact, we believe it’s a prerequisite for recovery and overall happiness.

Show Notes:

Gratitude goes beyond saying “Thank You’’. Gratitude is appreciating what you have, not focusing on what you don’t.  Everything that happens in our lives is part of the experience. Part of a bigger picture that sometimes we are unable to see.

Yes, your addiction can be a blessing in disguise.

It could perhaps be the chance to change for good  or even that wake up call you desperately need.

We know it’s easy to get discouraged in the process of recovery. But even in our darkest hours, it is possible to find beauty in the world around us.

Yes, part of recovery is to be able to recognise what is wrong with you and be able to accept that you have a problem.

But you should be able to see the good in you as well. And that’s what we want to help you see today.

This episode is all about recognising your shortcomings but becoming aware of your gifts as well.

Share with us what are 3 things you are grateful for in this journey?
